I had an IKEA one that I paid about $70 BUCKS FOR...very stylish, LOOKED quality..but it was just not quality enough to make it in a moving truck across town. It was a cheap, but a good looking piece of furniture. It was not designed to be permanent, like this SOUTH SHORE dresser - and as such, you should not pay alot of money for something that you know is going to have to be replaced. Anyway, I got 2 of these as a gift, one was in bad shape when it arrived.. and even as another reviewer stated that the SOUTH SHORE company was great about a replacement... after seeing the first one all opened and laid out, I decided the 2nd one should just go back. I have spent a couple of hours putting this together on my own, and I have had to improvise. I went and picked up multi-purpose super-glue designed to hold everything from glass to metal together. Even with that and using a few more nails.. it's still pretty flimsy.

It looks ok, but go for something else. It is not quality, and that is the point. I don't like to write negative reviews.. but as the reason I love AMAZON is in part becuase of the honesty of many reviewers.. I just wantyou to have the info that can help you make an informed decision.
