Real bones are dangerous for dogs!We almost lost our Saint Bernard in a choking incident with a raw beef bone when he was able to bite off a piece that was too big to swallow.Since then, we have replaced his nightly raw bone ritual with a kong frozen with canned dog food, leftover meat, cream cheese, and other stuff.Cream cheese on the walls of the kong seem to keep him the busiest.

So far, so good - the Saint who was able to bite off a piece of raw beef bone has not been able to break the black kong.The black extreme does seem a little stronger than the red one because we have one of each and the red has more teeth punctures than the black, although the red one has not been broken yet either.

Also, this supplier had an excellent price and the kongs arrived very quickly for reasonable shipping.
