(More customer reviews)We just bought this dresser for our expected newborn.The unit had some damage right out of the box, cosmetic stuff, not a big deal.Our main concern was the material. We were hoping that only some of it would be particle board, with the main structural components made of a light wood.... but come on guys....this whole thing is laminated particle board!I guess that's what one should expect these days for mail order furniture.It will work and the finished product looks nice, but don't expect to beat on it, any scratches will go right through the laminate surface.The makers generously include a touch up pen, which is a clue that they expect it to either arrive damaged or for you to damage it within the first few days.Our advice...if you are going to buy a laminate particle board dresser, go to Walmart and get it cheaper.Like we said, it will work for now, but I'm sure we will be buying a new more expensive dresser from a real furniture maker in the next couple years.
