(More customer reviews)This item arrived very promptly, shipping was reasonable, given that it weighs 50 pounds, and it was extremely easy to assemble. One of the pieces did not have wood dowels in it, so my husband had to improvise a bit. If I had been assembling it on my own, I might have run into trouble. Despite this, the instructions were CLEAR and easy to follow--a nice change from most furniture assembly. The frame is very austere, but it was exactly what I was looking for to put in our spare bedroom/office. It's great because it doesn't have arms, so taller people will be able to sleep on it comfortably.

The biggest problem I had was the Amazon recommendation for a mattress. I ordered quickly and did not check that the recommended mattress was also queen size. It was a full. Stupid mistake, I know, but just make sure you quadruple check the mattress size so you don't have to return a giant futon mattress.
