I definitely did not want to be sleeping on wood laminate, so I was pleasantly surprised at the great craftsmanship and durable frame. It's such a beautiful addition to our home, and great for the minimalist. Assembly was super easy as well. I love to put together furniture (female here) and it took me maybe 30-45 minutes to assemble by myself. Be sure not to fully tighten screws until all pieces are in places. All holes lined up perfectly.

The bed was delivered by CEVA. I read a lot of horror stories about this delivery company, but everything went very well. The people were super nice and brought the furniture into my home...they had to walk up three flights of stairs, and it was a hot day! Delivery was 5 days ahead of schedule.
