(More customer reviews)Did a bit of searching for a clip on fan whose jaw would open wide enough to mount on my headboard.Not many listed the max thickness that the jaw would open ...even this 1 had 2 conflicting measurements:1 smaller figure in the initial desciption and a larger(correct) figure when you opened the technical drawing of the product. Before I ordered the fan, I called Lasko Tech Support to find out the right 1.(this figure was very important....not opening wide enough would make it unusable)
It does open wide enough and works fine!
