American Furniture Alliance Hermosa Metal/Wood Frame Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Bought this for my son and it is as advertised. The only issue we had was some broken slats once we received the bed initially.Getting the new bed was a bit cumbersome as the end supplier can't ship piece parts and have to ship the full bed.Response was quick and we are pleased.Installation was simple overall.

Solid-Color 6" Futon Cover - Black (Full) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Three sided zipper made it very easy to put on the futon mattress.
This fit my six inch mattress perfectly.

It's durable, and strong.

It feels a bit rough though, so I still felt the need to put a bed sheet on over it.

Great buy.

Wide Mission Futon Frame w /9inch Premium Futon Mattress - Full Size Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I've owned this futon for a year now and there is little I would change about it.It is constructed of solid pine that it is thick and strong.I've used it as a makeshift bed for the year.It has two compfortable positions it can lock into and a thick mattress pad that takes alot of use before it flattens out a little. The decorative sides of the bed come off after awhile, they need to nail them in place better,Overall though it is the best futon you can get for the price. It is not flimsy. The bed folds out into a full bed and has considerable length that a tall person has room for their legs.Purchase this futon if you need a cheap bed and you do not want to buy a cheap flimsy futon. It is a median between a bed and a cheap futon.

Trifecta Futon Frame Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This small love seat and futon bed is perfect for a small apartment or living space and is quite versatile - more so than what you see here in the photos and description. It functions as a lounger, a love seat and a bed. What's not shown in the photo is that you can place the mattress in two ways which changes the look and comfort when in the love seat position. If you place the mattress horizontally it creates a soft and puffy layer around the arm rests. This makes the futon wider but ten times more comfortable, intimate and pleasing to sit on.

I did a ton of research looking for a small futon and this is easily one of the most inexpensive and the most versatile. You can actually pay far more and get a lot less. This specific style model, under a different name, is also sold on other sites such as Fingerhut for about 50 bucks more.As of this writing Amazon is about the cheapest place you can find this style.

The big drawback is the assembly instructions. The first portion, which explains how to separately assemble the three individual sections (foot rest, seat, and back sections) is straightforward and easy to do.The next step - how to put all three sections together - is a nightmare. And I'm speaking as someone who has worked for companies assembling basic consumer goods such as this.It was at this point that I ignored the instructions altogether and used the photo as a guide in understanding how to finish the job.For others this could be a major problem. If you have had difficulties in the past putting things together you'll want to seek help from others.
