I had very high hopes for it this year.This was the year!!The bed was fantastic.It looked awesome and held the mattress perfectly.I slept great and in no small part was it due to the wonderful bed.I looked at my friends who were yankee fans and laughed at them.My bed was awesome, theirs not so much even though they paid over $1600 for their Yankee bed and I paid merely $900 for my Mets bed.Though it was the highest priced NL bed, it was totally worth it.

But then, then it was May and stuff started falling apart.The baseballs glued to the bed fell off one by one and I had to go buy some nerf baseballs to stick on since I hurt my head banging my head against it.Then one of the legs splintered, I think it was a torn labrum.The frame bowed in the middle and felt herniated.To make a long story short, I ended up going to home depot and getting a few 2x4's from the bargain bin and had to put the bed back together.The bed is okay and it serves its purpose, but there is no way that it's worth $899, it's hardly worth $100.I no longer laugh at my Yankee friends because they at least get a good night's rest on their bed whereas I have to prop up the legs of my Mets bed with an old phone book and I pray that the headboard doesn't fall on me while I sleep.
