Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Our dogs love this pad, it fits well in the kennels and the corner "cuts" help keep it in place. We have washed it once and it came out just like new.I would recommend it to pet owners who kennel their animals overnight or for parts of the day. They just sleep better on these type of pads!

Midwest iCrate Double-Door Home Training and Travel Series Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is the 3rd or 4th Midwest crate I've ordered and and they are all wonderful. I have several sizes and really love the crates with the side and end doors. You have more options in placement of the crate. The divider panel really comes in handy when I'm potty training, too. With four dogs of all shapes and sizes--Great Pyreenes down to a Maltese--I highly recommend any crates by Midwest. They are perfect for training. My dogs love them and use them every night. They also like them when it's thundering and lightning. After their last night potty outside, they crowd around their crates and can't wait for me to open them up so they can bed down for the night. (Doesn't help that they each have 2-3 treats waiiting for them inside.)

Midwest Life Stages Double-Door Folding Metal Dog Crate Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)If you have a medium sized doggie and are looking for a crate because you live in an apartment, this particular model is a good choice. Crate training is amazingly simple (just don't use it for punishment--make it a happy experience when your puppy go into his crate). We have been using this for two months, and he takes to it easily.

1. Easy to put together and fold away. Solid black e-coat steel wire, conjoined with small metal plates with welded corners facing out. It comes with a slightly smaller divider that you can hook to the insides of the crate. As our puppy got bigger, we moved the divider and eventually removed it.

2. The two doors (one on the long end is off-centered) are not removable and opens only one way so it's not omni-directional when you place it in tight spaces. You may want to check out some crates with three doors if so.

3. The bottom tray is made of black-composite plastic material, easy to wipe clean and slide out from under the short end of the door.

4. I like the double latch, but some people may find it a little more work to open and close day-to-day.

5. If you buy a crate cover, check out Cratewear Pet Dreams 3-Piece (which fits this model well, but only work with the door on the short end).

6. For this price, it's a good crate to highly consider because your goal is to have a sanctuary for your puppy (for time out and quiet-time) and to housebreak your dog and/or temperate from negative behavior (such as chewing furniture, etc.)

I hope this review is helpful for you.

Product Description:
Whether starting with a new puppy or starting again with an adult dog, this folding double-door metal dog crate cuts housebreaking time in half and reduces behavioral problems. The exceptionally versatile unit features a divider panel that allows for adjusting the length of the living area. Keeping the living space small enough reduces the chance of the puppy eliminating in one end and sleeping in the other. Choose the size of crate that the dog will need when it reaches its full adult size, as the divider can be adjusted as the puppy grows. For easy placement in an automobile or in the corner of a room, the dog crate also comes equipped with convenient double doors, which allow both side and front access. Other highlights include safe and secure slide-bolt latches, a durable satin-black electro-coat finish, 1-1/2-by-5-7/8-inch mesh, rounded corners, and two plastic handles for carrying. The unit easily sets up and folds down to a portable size for suitcase-style carrying, and an ABS-composite plastic pan for easy clean up comes included. The dog crate measures 36 by 24 by 27 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.
