(More customer reviews)Good product that is not made in China. It's liquid proof for kids but the material breathes and isn't noisy. Cheap plastic liners are hot, noisy (crinkly trash bag sound) and say "I can't breef!"As for Amazon's ratings.
Durability - Looks to be very well made.
Fun - Not really a "fun" item as much as FUNctional...oh, I see what they did there.
Educational - I learned that sometimes you do get what you pay for and it feels good to have an alternative to a potentially hazardous Chinese made product.

So, I decided to try the one I bought for him in her bed (since he was not born yet)and loved it so much that I had to rebuy him one. Awesome price especially for being organic. Believe me, I have been price shopping these since I was pregnant with my daughter. It has not shrunk on me at all (problem with last brand) and works great when my daughter has leaks!!! Definite buy!!!

Might be good if you're looking for a quick way to change it without messing with the mattress too much. But we were looking for something to protect our mattress for longer term and this is not it.

(More customer reviews)After a bad incident with my cat I was wary of cheaper mattress protectors that aren't actually waterproof.

I tested these when I got them and they do a great job of keeping water out.The terry cloth on top is actually soft and pleasant enough to rest on.The protector doesn't make plastic cracking sounds and feels very high quality.All in all I'm pretty satisfied.

The only problem is that the protected side is only the top of the mattress and not the sides.It doesn't fully encase the mattress with a zipper, so it's goes on and off just like a fitted sheet.
